It’s the first time EA has signed a major FIFA 18 eSports deal with a league to start FIFA 18 eMLS – there will be more in the future.
EA Sports has tied hands with Major League Soccer to kick off the eMLS cup that will feature 19 real world team trying to win the FIFA 18 World Championship title. The competitive eSports tournament will engage the largest soccer fans in the United States.
EA has released a statement along with the announcement. Todd Stirin representative EA Sports FIFA said “We’re honored to partner with MLS within the EA Sports FIFA 18 Global Series as we continue to help grow competitive gaming and soccer in North America,
“We engage millions of soccer fans daily through FIFA and attract many more who view our competitions around the world. With the eMLS we accelerate our growth as players compete on the road to the FIFA eWorld Cup 2018.” he added
How to Participate in FIFA 18 eMLS
If you wish to participate in the tournaments, you must be at least the age of 16 and registered at FUT Champions Website.
