Tekken 8 Release Date, Trailer, Rumors, Characters and Images

The new Tekken 8 has been rumored to be released in 2018. Today we discuss the Release Date, Trailer, Features, Rumors and Characters for the upcoming Tekken.

The last Tekken was released back in 2015 which was almost three years ago. The game received a ton of appreciation and won a few awards as well but after all this wait it seems like we get to see the new Tekken 8 this year. The arcade version of the latest Tekken will be confirmed if not released by the end of 2018.

Tekken 8

The developer Bandai Namco despite having helped in other projects like Dark Souls, has only one major project that is the Tekken series. The game is still with the company since 1994 and they have done an exceptionally good job developing it every few years. What used to be a arcade game is not one of the most played series with more than 50 million units of games sold.

Tekken 8 Release Date

The developers haven’t given us an exact date of release for the tekken 8 but we can predict the release date by looking at the releases of previous games in the Tekken Series.

The first tekken was released back in 1994 first in Japan and then worldwide. The Tekken 2 came out two year later in 1996 and the third edition quickly followed in 1997. After a five year gap, Tekken 4 was released in 2002 and out came Tekken 5 in 2004.

Tekken 8 Release Date

The next games in the Tekken series were compatible with all major consoles at the time. Bandai Namco rendered it well but also took their time to release the games. Tekken 6 was released worldwide in 2009 and Tekken 7 came out in 2016 with a gap of seven years from the previous game.

The game has always been released in end of year months and we can predict that Namco will do the game for Tekken 8 Release Date. If the game is to be released in 2018, we are predicting it will come out in October, 2018 but if there is a large gap before the release, it might come in June or July of X 20XX.

Tekken 8 Features and Rumors

  • The expansion customization mode for the current Teken is all and good but it could use some more items. Tekken 6 has a lot more items as compared to TK7 and fans are demanding the developer to bring it back.
  • Tekken 8 should bring back the real life fights scenarios. The new games have fights in top of mountain or G Corp Helipad but we miss the old fights. Stairways and in front of the crowd fights are awesome but we also don’t mind bringing back the dark background flights.
  • The movement for any level gamer shouldn’t be hard in a fighting game. There are only a few that can perfect the Korean Backdash in Tekken and that’s all because the movement in the game is too hard.
  • Other features that fans have demanded are saving and reviewing our gameplay as replays, fixing the online servers especially when its a 4 players game

Tekken 8 Characters

After the death of Kazuya and Heihachi, the series could use new characters. It is a large possibility that the game might have a completely new/ modified storyline to match these new characters.

Tekken 8 Characters

There has been an uproar because Lei Wulong was excluded from Tekken 7. There are fans demanding that he be brought back. Armor King who is dead has been replaced by his younger brother Armor King II. But the fans still want the original character back.

Conclusion

Tekken 7 was a huge success with over two million copies sold. The game introduced cinematic effects along with rage and cool down up shock. If the developers want to make another commercial success with Tekken VIII, they should take a look at the fans wishlist and add the most demanded features
